Previously the Christchurch car show was run by car enthusiasts and backed by the Churchill foundation. It did a great job at bringing cars and people together, but it required more event planning. For 2018 the Churchill foundation decided to invest more time into the show, planning and promoting it properly to help raise local awareness for the event and their cause, walking with the wounded.
Thanks to our previous experience, we were called in to help assist. Initially working with the team to provide photo and video support for the event, we ended up assisting them with other aspects of the show including stock imagery, design work and social media management.
Danesfield offers a luxury product which needs to be marketed. With their website and stock images working as a great foundation something else was required, something to represent the customers journey. After a production brief with their marketing team we decided upon a video which walked in the customers shows. From day to night.
During filming the hotel would have to remain active and a place for guest to use without their stay interrupted by filming. Using a two-man team and light compact equipment, we methodically filmed each area minimizing our impact on the guests stay but still capturing the opulence and luxury.
From conception to finished article, we were able to complete this project in just 2 months. Ready for the Christmas season. Using DSLR filming, light weight camera rigs and gimbals we were able to create a stunning piece of marketing material which highlights some of the best attributes of the property, professionally edited and colour graded.
